Vintage Destiny

Vintage Destiny

It’s quite astonishing how visiting museums can be valuable. Visiting such place can actually bring you back to an era that you knew nothing about; yet make you feel like you belong. In a way or another. What actually attracted me to promote such place is that it portrays the approach of life in the past.

The Ajman Museum was primarily built as a fort, where the sheikh used to live in. It currently houses a museum. It exhibits an interesting collection of artifacts created and gathered by our ancestors. It basically reveals our culture and shows how life used to be in the UAE. Vintage, yet elegant.

Nevertheless, I mainly focused on capturing the exterior of the museum, as I wanted to display the aesthetics of its architecture. I also wanted to put on show the beautifully designed forts and draw attention to the uniqueness of the windows as well as doors for they were creatively formed and deserve some attention.

In addition to that, it puts on display some precious home utensils, old bowls, dishes as well as perfume bottles to demonstrate our traditional life. To sum this up, visiting Ajman Museum is indeed entertaining and beneficial.

It unquestionably distinguishes the past of the UAE from its present and establishes a classic environment, where you get to know precisely how life used to be in this beloved country. It somehow makes you wonder how enormously has the UAE improved in the past few years. I guarantee you that visiting it wouldn’t be a waste of time!
